Lebanese designer Lama Jouni pursued her higher education in Paris, France. She studied at Esmod, Instituto Marangoni and finished at Parsons Paris building herself a strong foundation in fashion history, and tailoring.

While fulfilling a degree, she trained under some of the most respected fashion houses including Balmain, Rad Hourani and Reed Karkaoff, and she did a stint in fashion styling, which helped realize and develop the unique design aesthetic she continues to develop and perfect.

In November of 2016, JOUNI moved to Dubai and launched her contemporary ready to wear label that posses impeccable tailoring and uses the finest fabrics through a minimalist vision, trying to fill the gap between fast fashion and high end brands.
She then decided to move all operations to Beirut, Lebanon after realizing her vision in filling a big production gap in the fashion industry’s infrastructure. Making her mark on this strategy Lama believes in creating LAMA JOUNI PRODUCTIONS a bespoke production house that allows her brand and fellow regional fashion designers the opportunity of growth with cost effective high quality produced garments.

Her designs have been recognized internationally, appearing on British Vogue, Vogue Arabia, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia and more.

She was the first design talent out of Dubai to showcase her Autumn/Winter 2017 collection on the runway of Fashion Scout during London Fashion Week, and was honored as a finalist at the 2017 Vogue Arabia Fashion Prize.
