Lebanese designer Lama Jouni spent most of her childhood in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia before pursuing higher education in Paris, France. She studied at Esmod, Istituto Marangoni, and finished Fashion Design in Parson Paris building for herself a strong foundation and prowess in fashion history, business and tailoring.
While fulfilling a degree, she trained under some of the most respected fashion houses including Balmain, Rad Hourani and Reed Krakoff, and did a stint in fashion styling, which helped realize and develop the unique design aesthetic she has now perfected.
In November of 2015, she launched her ready to wear label and moved her fashion business to Dubai where she now has her own atelier in the heart of the city’s Design District. In a region of women with opulent style choices, Lama Jouni has made a mark by being at the forefront of contemporary clothing that possesses impeccable tailoring and uses the finest fabrics through a minimalist vision—taking the Lama Jouni woman’s look effortlessly from day to night. Her designs have been recognized across the globe, appearing on British Vogue, Vogue Arabia, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia and more.
She was the first design talent out of Dubai to showcase her Autumn/Winter 2017 Collection on the runway of Fashion Scout during London Fashion Week, and was honoured as a finalist at the 2017 Vogue Arabia Fashion Prize.
